how do you make the star-space background and the planet. i need to know because i am going to be working on the cover art for the fan fic i am working on entitled: "Episode 4: Remix".

The space-field is actually a background I picked up somewhere that was supposed to be granite. By playing around with the brightness and contrast, I thought it looked sufficiently like space. The planet is just a stock image I found on the internet. Another picture with Earth on it, I got the image off the NASA website.
